Crop Nutrition and Fertilizer Programmes

Different crops need different feeding. We write fertilizer programmes by crop group, soil and stage, so each bag you buy has a reason.

Crop nutrition programmes

Cereals such as sorghum, millet, maize and wheat respond mainly to nitrogen and need phosphorus at sowing. Oilseeds and pulses such as sesame and groundnut want phosphorus and sulphur. Vegetables want balanced, frequent feeding. Fruit trees and date palm need steady nitrogen and potassium and organic matter.

We turn that into a programme of urea, DAP, TSP, NPK, bentonite sulphur 90 and organic matter, with quantities, timing and cost, adjusted by your soil test.

Key points

  • Programmes for cereals, oilseeds, pulses, vegetables, orchards and date palm
  • Split nitrogen, basal phosphorus, sulphur where needed
  • Quantities and dates for each field
  • Cost per hectare or feddan
