There is no single price for a jute bag, because jute bags are not all the same. These are the things that decide it.
What changes the price
- Weight of the bag: a heavier cloth uses more fibre and costs more, and carries more.
- Size: the length and width decide how much cloth is needed.
- Weave and quality: a tighter, more even weave costs more to make and holds finer seed.
- Print: your name or marks add a step.
- Quantity: larger orders spread the fixed costs.
- Freight and packing: pressed bales and full containers lower the cost per bag delivered.
- Fibre market: the raw jute price moves with the season and the crop.
How to get a clear quote
Give the supplier the bag size and weight, the crop, the print, the quantity and the destination. Ask for the price per bag and per bale and what is included.
Do not buy on price alone
A bag that is a little cheaper but splits under load costs more than it saves. Ask how the bags are checked.
